Join Our Team on Thursday, May 13th at House of Blues as we strive to support families battling cancer and raise money for the Family Reach Foundation and children at Rady Children's Hospital.

Hosted by Gridiron Greats

Lorenzo Neal, recently named to the NFL's all-decade team, is an NFL journeyman. Neal has played with the Chargers, Saints, Bucs, Titans, Bengals and Ravens. Lorenzo was an All-American wrestler at Fresno State before being drafted by the Saints. Neal is committed to this cause to honor his sister, Denise, who he lost tragically two years ago to breast cancer. Lorenzo and his wife, Denisha have one son, Lorenzo, and twin daughters, Nylya and Mia.

Eric Allen is an ESPN Analyst and 14 year NFL Veteran who played cornerback for the Eagles, Saints and Raiders, and retired with 54 interceptions. A Point Loma grad who went on to Arizona State, Allen was drafted in the second round by the Eagles. Allen lost his beloved Grandmother to cancer when he was thirteen and the Allen Family is committed to fighting this devastating disease. Eric and his wife, Lynn, have four boys, Austin, Hunter, Jordan and Noah and reside in Point Loma.

Earl Campbell Inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1991, he began his career as a running back at the University of Texas. Campbell won the 1977 Heisman Trophy as the nation's most outstanding college football player. He joined the NFL's Houston Oilers as a first round draft selection in 1978 and was named the American Football Conference player of the year by United Press International.

Since retiring from football, Earl is the President of Earl Campbell Meat Products in Austin, Texas and still actively participates in University of Texas Athletics.

Legedu Naanee In Legedu Naanee, the Chargers have a versatile athlete that can play wide receiver, tight end and fullback and make things happen whenever he has the ball in his hands.

Last year, Naanee focused on playing wide receiver, while also ranking as one of the squad’s top special teams players. He came on with his best performances late in the season and caught his first-ever NFL touchdown pass in the Bolts’ AFC Divisional Playoff game in Pittsburgh.

Naanee was born in Portland, Oregon, but his father, Agbora, was born in Nigeria in a village outside of Lagos. His first name, Legedu, means "Good is coming" in Nigerian and Naanee is the family surname. Legedu has been to Nigeria twice to visit family members who still live there.

Family Reach is honored to work with Pro Player Foundation and to be chosen as a highlighted charity for the 2010 Flavors of the Gaslamp event.

Family Reach Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial relief and heartfelt support to families fighting pediatric cancers and other life-threatening diseases.

Family Reach has helped hundreds of families stay afloat so they can focus on returning a child, a sibling or a parent back to good health. Your Flavors of the Gaslamp donation will go towards covering a family's everyday monthly bills, such as mortgage, food, utilities and travel expenses to and from Rady Children's Hospital- San Diego while they receive cancer treatment.

It is with heartfelt gratitude to the Pro Player Foundation and the Flavors of the Gaslamp event, we have been able to extend our mission to support families battling the cancer storm being treated at Rady Children's Hospital. Your support will allow us to reach even more families in the San Diego area as they deal with the day to day reality brought on by a cancer diagnosis.
